I like to specifically choose a nice piece of characterful wood to make the hanger – this piece is really expressive, I love that unique personality found in wood and it’s a real privilege taking something discarded and giving it a beautiful new life.

There is a rather embarrassing story that goes with this piece. You’ll need to watch the video (below) to see what it is though, as I can’t bring myself to admit to it in words!

This is the sister piece for “My Day Planner #2” from December 2018 – I generally only make two in this series per month.

Ready to hang finished in polyurethane varnish and comes complete with two glasses and two Denby “James Martin” Espresso cups.
