Another experiment… A Hazy Pale fermented with a Farmhouse Saison yeast hopped hot side with Citra, Strata and Idaho 7 – then dry hopped with Citra, Strata and Loral.
I was VERY dubious about this as historically I’ve never been much of a fan of the Farmhouse style, often classing it as ‘dung in a bottle’, but was convinced by another brewer (with far more experience than I) to try this yeast, and you know what?
I’ts not reyt bad!
I don’t think this style will ever top my list of brews to seek out, but I can understand the Saison influence and the qualities it imparts.
